As part of its commitment to excellence and scientific rigor, YSONUT Laboratories is actively working to develop its products, not only in design and development, but also a posteriori, to validate its effectiveness empirically.

To this end, the Scientific Committee of the laboratory performs independent clinical studies under the direction of internationally renowned instructors:

1) Pilot outpatient study: a double-blind controlled study comparing a standard protein intake diet with a diet supplemented with neurotransmitter precursors.

Conducted in collaboration with an independent researcher, Professor Daniel Rigaud, Head of Endocrinology, Nutrition and Eating Disorders of the Bocage Hospital Centre at the University of Dijon, this double-blind controlled study compares a standard protein intake diet with a protein intake diet supplemented with neuromediator precursors. tyrosine (Dynovance) in the morning for the production of indoleamines and tryptophan (Sérovance), in the evening for the production of catecholamines.

This study shows that feeding behaviour and quality of life can be optimised with a very low calorie diet if a tyrosine and tryptophan supplementation is added. This is important provided, or if it at least plausible, that mood and eating behaviours (restraint, disinhibition) are responsible for certain "failures" in following this type of diet and, more generally, any hypocaloric diet.

The voluntary restriction effectively induces known somatic, food and psycho behavioural disorders (sleep and mood disorders, tiredness and fatigue, food compulsions, dichotomous thinking "eating makes you fat") and finally, in some cases, eating disorders (binge eating, self-induced vomiting, anorexic behaviour, etc.).

On a protein intake diet, all the studied factors improved markedly, although there are marked differences between the two groups, standard protein intake diet, and standard protein intake diet with tyrosine and tryptophan supplementation.
• Weight loss is clearly higher in the standard protein intake diet with tyrosine and tryptophan supplementation group, than in the standard protein intake diet group.
• Quality of life and eating behaviour increased significantly in the standard protein intake diet group.

In obese subjects, the results are even clearer, being the group that takes the most advantage of the standard protein intake diet program. Therefore, it is necessary to suggest obese patients a plan for supplementation with tyrosine and tryptophan, neurotransmitter precursors, from the moment they start a diet program.
